LOWER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT

Lower School students participate in daily PE classes as well as weekly Music, Library, Computer, Spanish (fifth grade), and STEM activities, with a focus on developing 21st century skills in the areas of science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. Students will utilize and grow in their ability to be creative, collaborative problem-solvers by utilizing the design-thinking process.

At the Lower School level, students are provided with additional enrichment opportunities in many areas.  All students in grades kindergarten through fifth attend chapel once weekly which includes a time for worship through music and an age-appropriate, exciting Bible lesson taught by members of ACS staff, local pastors, and peer student programs.

Grade level drama programs for Thanksgiving and Presidents' Day are presented to the Lower School parents and student body. These offerings are coupled with opportunities throughout the year for students to participate in youth targeted athletic programs which include basketball, cheer, track and flag football.
