Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program at Athens Christian School
Athens Christian School partners with the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program, a statewide Student Scholarship Organization created as a result of the Education Expense Credit law passed by Georgia legislators in 2008.
This program allows Georgia individuals and businesses to receive a dollar-for-dollar Georgia income tax credit by redirecting a portion of their state income tax liability to provide private school scholarships for eligible students.
Through this partnership, Athens Christian School is able to benefit directly from GOAL contributions designated to support ACS students and families.

How the GOAL Program Benefits Athens Christian School
GOAL uses redirected tax credit funds to provide tuition assistance scholarships to qualified students transferring from a Georgia public school. When donors designate Athens Christian School as their preferred school, those funds are used to support ACS families who desire a Christ-centered, academically excellent education.
This program is a win-win-win:
- Taxpayers redirect dollars they already owe in state income taxes
- Students and families receive meaningful tuition assistance
- Athens Christian School is able to expand access to Christian education
By contributing through GOAL, donors help maximize financial aid resources for deserving families while receiving a 100% Georgia income tax credit.
