CHEER
ACS Cheerleaders promote both our school and our community, and help to market the athletic programs and foster a sense of school spirit among students and faculty. These goals are the core purposes of cheerleading, and even with the increasing popularity of competition, ACS cheer remains relevant in today's world. We prepare our cheerleaders to be tomorrow's leaders by developing their teamwork, leadership, and athletic skills. In order to become a Varsity Cheerleader at ACS, girls must go through rigorous try-outs and training to be able to run, tumble, stunt, and perform quality routines. Being a Varsity Cheerleader presents a large time commitment, and the girls represent our school on and off the field and court—they embody the values of hard work, dedication, and excellence that ACS encourages.
