This year's middle school cross country team proved to be one of the best teams ACS has ever had. Between the guys and girls, both groups achieved great things.

The girls excelled in the Spartan Invitational and the Northeast Georgia Championship.  They placed third at a meet in Jeykll Island as well as won the city championship. 

The guys were second place in the Northeast Georgia Championship, second in the Spartan Invitational, and ended as city champions and the best middle school team in the area. 

The incredible effort put forth by the runners made their coach very proud.  "Nobody worked like these kids did," said Coach Cayla Cummings.  The team proved that with painstaking effort and perseverance, anyone can make it and achieve much.
